Team NZ says nothing wrong with boat

The Team NZ bowmen Jeremy Lomas says they are confident they can bounce back after today's disappointing first loss of the America's Cup regatta in San Francisco.

Team NZ were leading the second race of the America's Cup challenger series final when an electronic failure meant they couldn't control any of the hydraulic functions and the Italian syndicate Luna Rossa overtook them to level the series 1-all.

Lomas says a lot can go wrong with the high-tech 72-foot catamarans, and says the boat will get a full inspection before tomorrow's two races.

The Team New Zealand boss Grant Dalton says there's nothing wrong with the boat and today's incident had no relationship with what happened yesterday, when the Catamaran nose dived.
