Westpac Stadium has passed safety tests ahead of Saturday's Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup return match between the All Blacks and the Wallabies.

The stadium, which was closed as a precautionary measure in the wake of last Friday's earthquake, has been passed a thorough engineering inspection for the sold out match.

The stadium's chief executive Shane Harmon said minor damage such as chipped concrete and broken glassware would be completed well before the match, and engineers have said the structure had performed up to expectations.
