The Southern Steel won their crucial game against the Adelaide Thunderbirds covincingly last night - 58-49 to move into fourth place on the ANZ netball table, edging out the Queensland Thunderbirds on percentage points.
Further up the ladder, the Melbourne Vixens drew level on points again with the front running Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic with a 63-35 romp against the Canterbury Tactix, but the Magic stay on top of points differential.
So the Magic, the Vixens and Adelaide are guaranteed finalists, while the Southern Steel and the Queensland Firebirds will fight out the fourth qualifying in this week's final round.
