Arsenal won 3-1 at London rivals Fulham, Stoke City defeated Crystal Palace 2-1, and Hull City beat Norwich City 1-nil.
Southampton drew 1-all with Sunderland, Newcastle and West Ham played out scoreless draws, as did Everton and West Bromwich Albion.
