Bay of Plenty lock Culum Retallick has been suspended from rugby for two weeks for a dangerous tackle in the ITM Cup win over Hawke's Bay.
Retallick was found to have lifted and tipped a player dangerously in a ruck early in the first half of the match.
Judicial officer Nigel Hampton says the offence was at the low end and was not pre-meditated or deliberate.
Retallick will miss the Steamers' matches against Auckland and Wellington.
