The New Zealand rowing squad has finished with 5 medals, one gold, three silvers and one bronze from the World Championships in South Korea.

On the final day the New Zealand double scullers Zoe Stevenson and Fiona Bourke had a bad stroke with a couple of metres to go and were pipped on the line by a crew from Lithuania... finishing second by 0.04 of a second.

The men's lighweight four and single sculler Emma Twigg also won silver on the last day.

On Saturday the mens pair of Hamish Bond and Eric Murray broke the world record for the highest number of consecutive wins.... taking their 16th major title.
