The New Zealand Olympic 1500 metre bronze medallist Nick Willis looks set to finally be upgraded to silver, after a German newspaper reported that the B sample of winner Rashid Ramzi has tested positive for the blood boosting drug, EPO.
In April the International Olympic Committee named Ramzi of Bahrain as one of six Beijing athletes to test positive for banned drugs after the re-testing of samples.
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper says five athletes have returned positive B samples for EPO.
