Wrestling has returned to the Olympic programme after being surprisingly dropped earlier this year as the IOC looked to refresh its programme.
Wrestling featured in the anicent Olympics and every modern Games apart from 1900, and it's won back its place for the 2020 Tokyo Games after polling 49 of the 95 votes cast by IOC members, easily beating bids from squash and baseball/softball.
It was a sensational turnaround for the sport which overhauled its rules, administration, and gender equity following its shock exclusion.
