Team NZ won't be holding back in rest of regatta

Team New Zealand are now two-thirds of the way toward re-capturing yachting's venerable America's Cup.

Strong upwind performances on Friday morning on San Francisco Bay again paved the way for two more Team New Zealand victories over holders Oracle, taking the challengers to a six race win to -1 advantage.

They now need just three more wins to regain the Cup after winning the seventh race of the series by a minute and six seconds, after claiming the day's first race by 47 seconds.

Team New Zealand says they won't be taking a conservative approach into the remainder of the competition, despite holding a big advantage over Oracle.

After comfortable wins in both races on Friday, and despite having a huge speed advantage upwind and being able to overtake Oracle, Team New Zealand trimmer Glen Ashby says it's not their style to sit back.

The next two races are scheduled for Sunday morning.
