The Wellington Phoenix football club have signed young Queensland defender Josh Brindell-South on a one year contract.
The 20 year becomes the seventh player aged 20 or under that coach Ernie Merrick has signed for the Phoenix, with Brindell-South able to play at left or right back.
He played for Moreton Bay United last season in Australia's National Premier League, winning the side's best and fairest award.
