Team New Zealand has lost the opening race of the day at the America's Cup on San Francisco Bay, beaten comfortably by Oracle Team USA.
It means Team New Zealand still remain one win away from winning the trophy, leading Oracle by eight points to two.
Oracle had the better of the start and led by five seconds at the first mark extending that to eleven seconds at the second.
Team New Zealand reduced that to ten seconds on the third but Oracle extended the lead back out to 29 seconds eventually crossing the line 31 seconds ahead of Team New Zealand.
