South Africa have recalled lock Pieter-Steph du Toit and centre Juan de Jongh for the final two Rugby Championship home tests of the year, against Australia and New Zealand.

Du Toit was in the Springboks squad in June but had to withdraw because of injury, but like De Jongh, the 21-year-old has been playing in the provincial Currie Cup competition.

Coach Heyneke Meyer says du Toit has always been part of their long-term plans while De Jongh is an experienced player and will slot back into the squad with ease.
