All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects his captain Richie McCaw to be fit to face the Springboks in Sunday's final Rugby Championship test in Johannesburg.
McCaw's been out since suffering a knee injury in the home win over Argentina in Hamilton but the skipper says he feels he'll be fine, and Hansen concurs with McCaw's assessment.
Hansen says McCaw got better and better as he trained all last week and he'll be fine.
North Harbour prop Ben Afeaki's on standby to travel to South Africa if fellow tighthead Owen Franks fails to recover from the groin injury that forced him from the field in yesterday's bonus-point win in Argentina.
