The New Zealand A cricketers have beaten Sri Lanka A by 28-runs in the first ODI in Pallekele.
New Zealand scored 350 for eight with Luke Ronchi scoring 84, Colin Munro 70 and Anaru Kitchen 62.
Sri Lanka A were then bowled out for 322 in the 48th over with Adam Milne and Anton Devcich taking three wickets each.
The second match is on Tuesday.
