Boks forced to take risks in Championship finale

The Springboks coach Heineke Meyer says they're prepared to gamble with an expansive, attacking game in this weekend's Rugby Championship decider at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.

The South Africans have little choice as they face the daunting task of having to win by seven points and score four tries to win the title, while the All Blacks need only one point from the match to claim the trophy.

Meyer also offered some pre-match advice to the Welsh referee Nigel Owens by suggesting he should keep a close eye on the breakdowns, an area of the game South African pundits claim the All Blacks get away with too many infringements.
