Two months after winning three medals at the world championships in Barcelona, Auckland swimmer Lauren Boyle has claimed gold in the 400 metres freestyle at the New Zealand short course championships in Wellington.
The 25 year old turned on a masterclass to win in a world class time of four minutes and two seconds (4:02.36), more than five seconds ahead of second placed Tabitha Baumann.
