The Australian Adam Scott has warned against writing off his International team when golf's Presidents Cup begins overnight in Ohio.

Scott the world number two will lead the Internationals against the United States fully aware of the lopsided statistics, wih the Americans having won seven and drawn one of the nine previous Presidents Cups.

They have also never lost on American soil and boast seven of the top 11 ranked players in the world in their 12-strong squad.

But Scott says the Internationals should not be under-estimated as the 18 hole match play format can produce upsets.
