Boyle wins another one

Swimmer of the year Lauren Boyle has swept the longer titles at the National Short Course Championships in Wellington.

Boyle added the 200 title to her 400 and 800 successes, finishing just a second outside her national record.

Boyle says she's pretty happy with how she's done but it is a mental challenge to get back into the competitive mindset after a break.

29 year old Kurt Crosland capped his return to the sport with a victory in the 200 backstroke as he sets his sights on qualifying for next year's Commonwealth Games.

Crosland was the leading individual male at the championships with five titles in the 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke, and the 100m and 200m individual medley.
