SBW maintains pre-grand final silence

The Sydney Roosters league star Sonny Bill Williams is staunchly maintaining his silence ahead of Sunday's NRL Grand Final against Manly, and it's being taken as a clear indication that his time in league may be coming to an end.

Williams even skipped the team's fan day celebrations which followed the grand final lunch, though Roosters management insisted it was because of a pre-arranged physio's appointment.

There is speculation he has a calf complaint he has carried for some weeks, but coach Trent Robinson says he's a certainty to play on Sunday.
