Jerome Kaino returning to NZ and Blues

New Zealand Rugby has announced World Cup champion All Black Jerome Kaino is coming home from two seasons playing in Japan.

The 48-test All Black has been contracted to play with the Blues and be available for the All Blacks in 2014 and 2015.

New Zealand Rugby chief executive Steve Tew says after losing the talented flanker to the Toyota club two years ago, the All Blacks have worked hard to build depth in that position and says his return will only intensify the contest for the black jersey.

Blues coach Sir John Kirwan says they're thrilled to welcome back the 30-year-old and says he's contributed a huge amount to the franchise in his nine previous seasons.
