Taumaunu not happy with umpiring

The Silver Ferns coach Waimarama Taumaunu felt a number of decisions went against her side late in Monday night's 52-47 loss to Australia in Melbourne.

The result means Australian wins back the Constellation Cup.

The home side led by 10 heading into the final quarter before the Silver Ferns got within three. Taumaunu says with some better calls from the umpires they could have got even closer.

Australia's captain Laura Geitz used all of her experience to put Ferns shooter Catherine Latu off her game.

The match was officiated by an Australian and a New Zealander and Taumaunu says that is not her preference.

The final game of the series is in Canberra on Sunday.
