Matfield laughs at All Black suggestions

The Springbok lock Victor Matfield has laughed of the latest suggestion by the All Blacks that the South Africans may have had inside knowledge of their lineup calls ahead of last week's Tri-Nations Test in Bloemfontein.

On Friday the All Blacks restricted access to their training run to just New Zealand media.

The South African pressure in the lineout certainly helped them to a 28-19 win last weekend, and Matfield, a veteran of 84 Tests, says it's a nice compliment to them that they're so concerned about it.

But he says the reality is that they were able to watch and study three of New Zealand's Test matches before they played them in Bloemfontein.

Matfield says you don't have to go to a training session to figure it out, with a bit of effort you can work it out for yourself just by watching on TV.

As for the All Black hooker Andrew Hore, he sees the lineout and in particular Victor Matfield as just another challenge.
