All teams arrive in Machester for League World Cup

The captains and coaches of all fourteen teams have been in Manchester for the official opening of the Rugby League World Cup, and most were predicting some surprise results from the lower-ranked sides boasting NRL talent.

The England captain Kevin Sinfield admitted his side was still hurting from a shock 15-14 loss to Italy in a warmup match at the weekend, which has given the hosts an unexpected "siege mentality" ahead of the tournament opener against Australia in Cardiff's Millenium Stadium on Sunday morning.
