The Wellington centre Tim Bateman says there is a lot of belief within the squad that they can win the national provincial premiership this weekend and start something new for the province.
Wellington last won the title in 2000 and have been beaten finalists 6 times since.
Bateman helped Canterbury beat Wellington in the 2008 final at Westpac Stadium.
