South African spinner runs through Pakistanis

The South African cricketers have made a dream start to their second test against Pakistan, thanks largely to their leg spinner Imran Tahir who celebrated his return to the South African lineup with five wickets as Pakistan were skittled for just 99 after winning the toss on the opening day in Dubai.

Pakistan-born Tahir was playing in his first test since conceding 260 runs without a wicket against Australia in Adelaide last November, and he clean bowled four of his victims.

South Africa finished the day on 128 for three, a 29-run first innings lead.

South Africa need to win to share the 2-match series, having not lost an away series since 2006.
