Breakers wary of Wildcats' NBA import

8:40 am on 24 October 2013

The Breakers Coach Dean Vickerman is confident his team has the personnel to match Perth's star NBA import James Ennis when when the two teams meet tonight in Auckland.

The swingman, on loan from the Miami Heat after being the 50th pick in this year's NBA draft, has averaged 24.3 points in the Wildcats' 3 wins this season.

Vickerman wants the defending champions to ensure they avoid handing chances to Ennis during the re-match of last year's two grand finalists.

The Breakers have won one and lost two so far this season, but haven't lost at either of their Auckland venues for more than a year - since Perth tipped them up in the opening round of last season.
