Geraldine driver Hayden Paddon has finished eighth in his first fully World Rally Championship race, the Rally of Spain.
Paddon was almost seven minutes behind the winner, the newly crowned world champion Sebastien Ogier.
The Frenchman sealed his eighth win in 12 races this season by leading home Volkswagen team-mate Jari-Matti Latvala by 32.9 seconds.
Another Finnish driver, Mikko Hirvonen, was third.
Paddon, who usually competes in the second tier S2000 class, was invited to drive for the Qatar M-Sport Ford team in Spain.
