India take ODI series against Australia to decider

5:33 am on 31 October 2013

The rain-shortened one day cricket series between India and Australia will go to a decider after the tourists failed to defend a 350-run total for the second time in the series.

Led by Shikhar Darwan's 100 and Virat Kohli's unbeaten 115 off 66 balls, India achieved their target of 351 with three balls and six wickets in hand.

The home team's batting heroics in Nagpur again overshadowed spectacular innings by the Australian captain George Bailey with 156 off 114 balls, and Shane Watson's 102 off 94.

The deciding game is in Bangalore on Saturday.
