The young New Zealand surfer Ella Williams is into the quarter-finals of the Junior World Surfing Championships in Brazil.
18-year-old Williams, from Whangamata, beat Leticia Canales Bilbao of Britain in the third round and will take on Mahina Maeda of Hawaii in the last 8.
