McCaw happy enough with win over Japan

11:26 am on 3 November 2013

Despite an at-times scrappy performance in their 54-6 win over Japan in Tokyo on Saturday night, the All Blacks captain Richie McCaw believes the test has served them well as a build-up to tests against France, England and Ireland.

The All Blacks ran in eight tries as they maintained their 11-match winning streak for 2013.

McCaw, who's had limited test rugby this year, played the full match at No.8 and concedes they were guilty of giving away too many penalties.

He says Japan played well at times, putting the All Blacks under pressure with quick ruck ball.

The All Blacks now head to Paris to play France next Sunday morning.
