Sharma's double century leads India to series win over Australia

India's beaten Australia by 57 runs in the series-deciding one day cricket match in Bangalore.

Batting first, India amassed 383 for six with Rohit Sharma scoring 209, the second highest ever individual one day score, as the as the home side secured a 3-2 series win.

Sharma's 158-ball innings included 16 sixes and a 12 fours.

Australia were all out for 326, with James Faulkner top scoring with 116.

His century came off 57 balls making it the fastest one day century by an Australian, bettering Matthew Hayden's 66-ball effort against South Africa in 2007.

However allrounder Shane Watson could be in doubt for the opening Ashes test against England later this month after suffering a hamstring injury in the match.
