The New Zealand Breakers have snapped their four-game losing streak by beating the Hawks 97-89 last night in Wollongong.
The victory lifts the Breakers off the bottom of the Australian Basketball ladder into sixth with a two-win, four loss record.
Breakers assistant coach Paul Henare hopes to start a winning streak, beginning this Friday against the Crocodiles in Townsville.
