The eight-man season-ending ATP tennis finals have started in London and the opening match has been won by Stanislas Wawrinka over the Czech Tomas Berdych.
In a minor upset the Swiss seventh seed beat the fifth-seeded Berdych 6-3 6-7 6-3.
