Piutau could replace Savea

The All Blacks coaches are satisfied they've got a readymade replacement for wing Julian Savea, if he is unable to recover from the flu in time for Sunday's test against France.

Savea's been struck down by illness and was unable to train, spending most of the day in bed.

That may open the door for the impressive utility back Charles Piutau to get another start on his wing.

The assistant coach, Ian Foster, says they've been very happy with Piutau's development.

Foster says they will have a full squad to pick from if Savea is fit to play.
