Crocs pile more misery on Breakers

11:27 am on 9 November 2013

The Breakers' woes in the Australian National Basketball League have continued after falling 91-78 to the Crocodiles in Townsville.

The three-time defending champions failed to deal with the Crocs' imports Brian Conklin and Josh Pace, who had big nights with 35 and 21 points respectively.

After trailing throughout the game, the Breakers gave themselves a chance to win in the final quarter, cutting the lead to four, but were unable to grind out the victory.

The Breakers are now 2-5 for the season, with the bottom-placed Wollongong Hawks the only side they've been able to beat.

Their next game is against the Adelaide 36ers on Friday.
