Injury, illness sidelines SBW

Kiwis star Sonny Bill Williams is battling injury and illness to be fit for the Rugby League World Cup quarter-final against Scotland in Leeds on Saturday.

Williams has been a standout so far in the tournament, running in a first-half hat-trick in the win over Papua New Guinea, but has been nursing a sore shoulder since that match.

He's also been struck down with the flu, but expects to be good to go by the weekend.

If the Kiwis beat Scotland, they're likely to set up a semi-final showdown with hosts England a week later.
