Robert Berridge won the WBO Oriental light heavyweight title from fellow New Zealand boxer Daniel McKinnon in a brutal 10th round stoppage that sent McKinnon to Waikato Hospital's Intensive Care Unit.
McKinnon is in a critical but stable condition after the fight, on the undercard of the David Tua-Alexander Ustinov fight in Hamilton, following an emergency procedure upon arrival by ambulance.
