The Wallabies have sent home an injured Matt Toomua from their European rugby tour in another major blow to the strife-torn backline.
The in-form second five is on his way home after suffering a partial hamstring tear at training in Edinburgh.
Apart from Toomua, the Wallabies backline will be without the incumbent wingers Adam Ashley-Cooper and Nick Cummins, who were stood down for staying out late in Dublin last week, and the suspended centre Tevita Kuridrani who copped a five-week ban for a dangerous tip tackle against Ireland.
The Wallabies already had to call up winger Peter Betham, who could now get a chance to play at Murrayfield this weekend.
