All Blacks Kieran Read and Ben Smith are both finalists for the International Rugby Board's Player of the Year Award.
Read and Smith have been in outstanding form for the Super Rugby sides and the All Blacks this year.
Both are also finalists for the New Zealand Rugby Player of the Year Award.
The other IRB finalists are Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth, Wales and Lions fullback Leigh Halfpenny and Italian number eight Sergio Perisse.
Dan Carter won the award last year.
