The world's number one tennis player Roger Federer has been knocked out in the quarter-finals of the Montreal Masters by France's Jo-Wilfred Tsonga.
Tsonga now meets Britain's Andy Murray in the semi-finals beating the Swiss great for the first time 7-6 1-6 7-6 in two hours and 19 minutes.
Murray went through after beating the Russian Nikolay Davydenko 6-2 6-4.
