Auckland have beaten Northland 32-13 in an Air New Zealand Cup rugby game in Kerikeri this afternoon before a crowd of about 6000 people.
The game was played in small town Kerikeri, which has a populatioon of less than 6000, because of on going repairs at Okara Park in Whangarei.
Auckland scored four tries to one for their first win of the season.
Out of form All Blacks winger Joe Rokocoko was one of Auckland's stars. He scored two tries and set up a third..
Afterwards he said that scoring tries was all about getting back to basics.
The game also marked the return of All Blacks utility Isaia Toeava.
All Blacks John Afoa and Jerome Kaino also played.
