The young Indian skip played an absolute bomb to drag the jack to her team mates bowls and pick up three shots.

In the mens pairs former indoor carpet king Jamie Hill and two times world champion Gary Lawson beat Hong Kong China 17-12 in a comfortable victory. They will now go on to play the formidable China duo in the semi-final.

The womens singles saw Val Smith's campaign for gold cut short after suffering a narrow defeat to the Phillipines 18-21. Smith had a great tournament but will now be cheering on her squad mates in the mens triples and pairs.

Recently crowned Asia Pacific Games singles champion, 22-year-old Shannon McIllroy and Shayne Sincock were on song to account for the tough trio of the USA.

They finished up on double the points of their opponents winning 18-9 to see them feature in the semi final against the host nation Malaysia.
