New Zealand golf star Lydia Ko has enjoyed her first pay day as a professional, finishing in a share of 21st at the Titleholders Championship in Florida, the final event of the LPGA season.

Ko fired a two under par 70 to finish on four under par for the tournament, eleven strokes behind the winner, Shanshan Feng.

The 16-year-old will take home roughly $20,000 for her efforts, but she's got a few ideas on how she'll spend her winnings.

Ko says she'll save a little bit and buy a new camera.

She now travels to Orlando with her mother to look for a potential base for next year, before heading to Taiwan to play in an invitational event.
