There's good news for the Irish rugby hooker Rory Best who broke his arm during Monday morning's game against the All Blacks in Dublin.

Best has undergone successful surgery on the arm and is expected to return in time for the start of the Six Nations in February.

Best scored Ireland's second try in an opening 20-minute blitz against the All Blacks but left the field soon after holding his right arm.

The 31-year-old former Ulster captain is expected to return to rugby in mid to late January.
