NBA basketball great Allen Iverson's No.3 number and jersey will be placed among the Philadelphia 76ers' greatest players.
The team announced that Iverson's number will be officially retired during a ceremony on the 1st of March when the 76ers play host to the Washington Wizards. Iverson formally announced his retirement on October the 30th.
The 1.83 metre tall guard spent 10 and a half seasons with the 76ers and led the team to the NBA Finals in 2001, when Iverson was named the league's MVP.
