Rutherford in good form in warm-up

Black Caps opening batsman Hamish Rutherford has scored back to back fifties for a New Zealand XI in a warm up game against the West Indies in Lincoln.

At stumps on day two, the hosts are 102 with out loss in their second innnings, Peter Fulton is 32 not out and Rutherford's unbeaten on 61.

Earlier the West Indies declared their first innings at 230 for six, with a lead of just three runs.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul top scored with 89.

Five New Zealand domestic cricketers are playing with the tourists because the rest of the West Indies team has only just completed their tour of India.

This is the tourists' only match before the first Test starts in Dunedin next Tuesday.
