Just three athletes will represent New Zealand at next year's Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, in Russia.

Wanaka alpine skiier Adam Hall's been named in the standing ski to defend the gold medal he won at Vancouver in 2010, while Lake Hawea's Carl Murphy will debut in the para-snowboard and snowboard cross, and another Wanaka-based athlete, Corey Peters, will contest the alpine skiing and sit ski for the first time.
