The Wellington Phoenix coach Ernie Merrick says he's disappointed they couldn't find the net as their first win of the A-League season continues to elude them.
The Phoenix drew 0-0 with Western Sydney in the capital last night, meaning they remain second from bottom with just four points from seven games.
Merrick says he has faith in his team, which has scored just six goals this season, but the finishing needs to improve.
He says they're improving in a range of areas, but to create chances inside the six-yard box like that and not put them away is disappointing for the whole team.
The Phoenix are in Perth on Friday.
