Barry John laments loss to Wallabies

The great Welsh rugby first five Barry John says Wales' latest defeat by Australia has left them with a "World Cup-sized headache" ahead of the 2015 edition in the UK.

The Wallabies' 30-26 win in Cardiff was their ninth straight victory over Wales, who've now won just one of their last 23 Tests against the top southern hemisphere nations.

The result is all the more significant as Wales are in the same World Cup group as Australia and England.

In his Wales on Sunday newspaper column, John was glowing in his praise of Quade Cooper for his all-round playmaking skills, which he described as thrilling and decisive.
