The Australian cricket team is playing down fears of an injury concern about Michael Clarke who hurt an ankle during Monday's training session in Adelaide.

Clarke seemed to sprain his right ankle during fielding drills ahead of the second Ashes test against England starting on Thursday.

He was limping for a while but later batted in the nets, and fellow batsman Steve Smith told reporters after training there was no concern about the skipper.
